How? Become a **Sr. Account Manager** at Abbott **Puerto Rico** , for the **Structural Heart** division.



As a **Sr. Account Manager** you will promote and support Abbott Structural Heart through developing strategies and plans to meet or exceed sales goals for assigned territory. Ensure patient centric focus and maintain high standards on clinical outcomes. Exhibits clinical competency relevant to therapy and disease state. Continually identify and evaluate market opportunities to strengthen and grow the Abbott footprint. Build strong relationships and collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative executives in therapy awareness efforts to gain mind share and resource allocation. Navigate the hospital environment, influence buying decisions and negotiate contracts. Stay informed on market dynamics and competitive activity relative to therapy.

+ Functional Competencies - Proven sales results / track record in medical device industry, preference for cardiovascular and structural heart clinical acumen. Demonstrated experience with conceptual and competitive selling. Effective project management and program development skill set. Demonstrated experience working effectively with C-Suite Administration, GPO's and IDN's. Strong organizational, communication, and process skill sets to support business planning, forecasting, sales process, and inventory management.

+ Product and Clinical Knowledge - Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of SH and competitive product features and benefits. Comprehends and clearly articulates SH and competitive product design, data, benefits and the relationship to clinical performance; actively engages in clinical, procedural and technical discussions. Understands anatomy, physiology, pathology and treatment options associated with cardiovascular disease

To be successful in this role, you will require the following qualifications:



+ Bachelor degree in Science or Business Administration.

+ 4+ years of relevant experience in a clinical and sales role. Preferred experience in medical device.

+ Previous experience in operation room environment.

+ Fully bilingual (English and Spanish).
