Repairs and maintains all production processing equipment as well as facility maintenance.
Performs the scheduled process equipment Preventive Maintenance Program.
Troubleshoot and repair all process equipment as safely, quickly and efficiently as possible.
Provides support to the production staff to minimize downtime and maintain high safety and quality standards.
Initiates purchase order for equipment and facility needs.
To work in a manner which is safe , clean and well organized .
Any other job task required by management, which requires the maintenance mechanics cooperation, to help
the growth of the facility.

Education and/or Experience
High School diploma or GED. Previous employment and/or related experience in a manufacturing facility. Background in the food processing industry is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as mechanical drawings, schematics, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively with employees in the organization.
Knowledge of Equipment and Tools
2 to 5 years of industrial maintenance experience with basic knowledge of hand tools is required, as well as knowledge in troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment found in the food manufacturing industry. Experience with working on and or repairing Fryers, Pot boilers, basic electrical and refrigeration are a plus.
