The $21B Powersports market (motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, PWCs, snowmobiles) is all about fast and fun, but the purchasing process is slow and frustrating. Octane enables consumers to live their passion by making powersports purchases instant, seamless, and widely available. Octane launched a credit product, branded as RoadRunner Financial, in 2016 to provide financing to prime and near-prime consumers who have historically been underserved by incumbank banks, expanding coverage to 50% of responsible consumers. Together with our automated underwriting and digital buying experience, Octane and Road Runner cut the time to close a transaction from hours to minutes. The market is choosing the Octane solution, as evidenced by ~25% of powersports merchants active on our platform (up 50% Y/Y), annualized origination run rate that is up over 3 X Y/Y. We are both the platform and the lender, which means we have both high growth and positive unit economics rare for a fintech company. This role is based in NYC.
Customize and Develop A lot of time can be spent in the setup menu adding Picklist Values, amending Page Layouts, creating assignment rules and more.
User Maintenance Admins will add new users, amend existing accounts, check system permissions on user profiles, restrict and open up data access and more.
Reports and Dashboards Build Reports to create a wealth of information from data stored in Salesforce.
Data cleanups Remove duplicate Accounts and Contacts by merging, mass updating and will also import data using import wizards e.g. Data import wizard, Data Loader etc.
Training Keeping up to date
Ongoing documentation produce and update existing Salesforce documentation for colleagues and customers. This helps to keep on top of new developments and future Salesforce releases and enhancements.
Grow A stronger base
Help to manage ongoing system developments communicating with customers and colleagues regarding new developments, support etc.
Provide continued support to colleagues, especially Salesforce Developers, and clients
Participation in the day-to-day running of our Salesforce application, organizing all incoming support requests
Working with the Salesforce team to improve the existing application and build out new applications to support our customers
Perform QA testing for iterative development cycles across various Salesforce projects.
1-2 years of experience in Salesforce administration
Salesforce Lightning experience preferred
Proficiency with Salesforce object, layouts, workflows, process builder and validation rules, permissions, roles, reports, dashboards, and logical formulas
Excellent at managing relationships with key stakeholders from the Marketing, Finance, Service, National Sales and Technology teams to diagnose operational needs and best practices
Ability to create innovative technical and business solutions where none exist or need revision
Ability to articulate ideas to technical and non-technical audiences verbally and in writing
Ability to independently lead projects and independently scope, prioritize and execute initiatives
High degree of comfort working in a scrappy, fast-paced environment and keep a positive attitude
One or more of the following Certifications : Salesforce Administrator Certification, Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification, Salesforce Developer Certification or Pardot Certification
Manage and support the daily, weekly, monthly administration activities to support the org - data integration, data quality & integrity, de-duplication, error logs, user administration, backups, manage the environments, patching/updates, etc.
